This film extends an experimental exploration of distance, using letters exchanged between the artist and their father as a central thread. Once a symbol of connection, communication, and intimacy, the letter is recontextualized against the backdrop of today’s digital landscape—where an abundance of communication tools and online culture have, paradoxically, rendered it a symbol of disconnection and estrangement. By analyzing the frequency of certain words within these letters, the text is fragmented, reshaped, and layered, visually deconstructing both language and meaning. Through this process, the film captures the subtle nuances of miscommunication within intimate relationships.
